Karen Kilimnik & Kim Gordon

Kilimnik and Gordon each present a video that reflects upon the nature of performance and its relationship with fashion. Kilimnik uses found staticky black-and-white footage of a televised Bananarama concert in Monaco, intercut with scenes from Desperately Seeking Susan, as well as snippets from MTV's House of Style. Gordon's piece, meanwhile, involves the musician herself, along with another female guitarist, playing dissonant chords while both are wearing Rodarte dresses.
