Time Out says

Bernhardt’s exuberantly colorful figurative studies and jumbles of images depicting everyday items (cigarettes, toilet paper), food (bananas, hamburgers) and animals (sharks, parrots) are drawn from her personal experience and are painted in a style that resembles Kirchner and Matisse wrestling over a brush. Hers is the kind of art you’d expect to get a lot of attention from collectors, and indeed, it has. The show’s title refers to the twin artists behind the collective Poncili Creacion, whom the artist met during a recent residency in Puerto Rico—a sojourn recalled here in canvases with a tropical vibe.
