Time Out says

The famed Bauhaus eminence, who would later helm the Chicago spin-off of the school, was a painter, but is best known for his boundary-pushing photographic work, defined by vertiginous angles, double exposures and directly exposing objects on photographic paper. The abstract, gestural qualities of the photos in this show are due to long exposures of various moving light sources, creating luminescent line drawings in midair.
