Some 90 drawings created from the early 1950s to the present are on view in this survey of Kossoff, a lion of the School of London. Along with Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud and Frank Auerbach, Kossoff transformed figure painting, updating it for a postwar world, while maintaining ties to tradition. The focus of this show, and indeed of Kossoff's work as a whole, is the city of London, with drawings that trace its transformation from bombed-out wartime capital to global financial center.
