Time Out says
Lawler's signature photos of other artists' works in museums, auction houses and private homes have always been about how context alters the meaning of art, a theme she expands upon here, quite literally. The images have been printed on sheets of adhesive vinyl that are stretched and pulled to fit the gallery walls: a comment, perhaps, about the malleability of the work of art as a commodity.
