Curators Franklin Evans and Omar Lopez-Chahoud have organized an ambitious summer group exhibition involving works by 60 artists spread out over nine galleries on the Lower East Side. Inspired by Richard Price's 2008 novel Lush Life, about an LES murder investigation, the show is organized into nine "chapters" based on the ones in the book. Although some sections of the show start and end earlier than others, July 8 6–9pm is the official opening night for all nine parts. See also Sue Scott Gallery, Invisible-Exports and Salon 94.
