You don’t have to travel upstate to see some of Storm King Art Center’s offerings; the sculpture garden brings work by one of its best-known artists, sculptor Mark di Suvero, to the Governors Island. Large-scale sculptures dating from 1977 to 2012 (including 1995's Rust Angel) are set up at various points, and true to the artist's style, the massive pieces are made of industrial materials such as salvaged steel and I beams. This exhibit follows on last year's hugely popular presentation of Di Suvero on the island.
