Artist and filmmaker Zack brings a Jewish family's apartment from 1930s Berlin back to life using large-scale 3-D computer graphics and the remarkable memory of a German-born Jew who now lives in Israel. The artist's vivid re-creations of the place—layout, furniture, appliances, tableware, carpeting and paintings—are all based on the recollections of her witness, who fled the Nazis and his boyhood home in 1938.
