Drawn primarily from the museum's extensive collection of work by the great American artist, this exhibition contextualizes Hopper's oeuvre among other artists active during the first half of the last century. It includes photographers like Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Paul Strand, as well as painters such as Charles Burchfield and Ben Shahn.
