Nir Hod, "Genius"

The Israeli artist, who uses kitsch to satirically bludgeon glamour and military heroism, turns his attention to the notion of genius, with a series of paintings depicting precocious children. The results suggest what might have happened had Margaret Keane painted a young Orson Welles's portrait. The show also includes sculptures.
