Noriyuki Haraguchi, "Works from Yokosuka"

The artist hails from the eponymous port city in Japan that has been home to the U.S. Navy's Seventh Fleet since 1945, and was also the epicenter of Japanese protest against the Vietnam War. Which explains the show's centerpiece: a full-scale of replica of the tail section of a U.S. carrier jet from the 1960s.
