Not Vital

This artist, born in Switzerland, but a longtime resident of New York, presents a series of bulbous, biomorphic sculptures created in China, where he's traveled extensively since 2008. Crafted in marble, steel, plaster, gold and coal, the pieces resemble landscape elements or, perhaps, ghostly, half-remembered fragments of dreams.
