Oliver Payne & Nick Relph, Ash's Stash

The stash in this installation originally mounted at the 2007 Basel Art Fair refers to the personal belongings of Ash L'Ange, the director of London's Herald Street Gallery, and they're basically what you might find in a locker from Storage Wars: Sneakers, bottles of wine, vinyl records and assorted tchotchkes. They're repurposed here as fine art pieces displayed on shelves, sort of like a Facebook for objects.
