Oscar Tuazon, "America Is My Woman"

This artist, known for his architecturally invasive installations, presents free-standing sculptures and wall-mounted reliefs created by folding, bending and puncturing large-scale aluminum-mounted photographs. The images themselves are dark to the point of being indistinct, reinforcing the overall abstract quality of the pieces.
