Pam Lins, "Problem Picture Sources New Sculptures"

By using current materials such as car paint to embellish abstract 3-D works that allude to such art-historical references as Donatello's Mary Magdalene, the artist creates a contemporary reconsideration of our relationship to the sculptural object.
