Phanos Kyriacou, "view to river from north"

This Cypriot artist refers to his work as "rearrangements of the spatial and the temporal," and if by that he means that his pieces have a provisional quality, the elegant minimalist sculptures in this show are guilty as charged. Resembling three-dimensional line drawings, these objects take shape as schematic boxes, pedestals, tables and other forms, and often have smaller items (some evidently found, some just as evidently crafted) placed upon them, as if they had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
