Time Out says

A free exhibit just south of the West Village, "Photos from A Plague in the Shadows" showcases portraits of HIV-positive New Yorkers who lived through the early years of the AIDS epidemic.

New York born artist Kia LaBeija, who is HIV-positive herslef, hopes to highlight the stories of HIV-positive people who are often overlooked, including women, people of color, children, and the incacerated. The exhibit was put together in collaboration with Blindspot, a podcast that delves into the stories of the city's AIDS epidemic, and will live at The Greene Space until March 11.
