"Poetry in Clay: Korean Buncheong Ceramics from Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art"

Advertising

Time Out says

On view are some 60 examples of buncheong ware, a traditional Korean pottery form dating from the 15th century, on loan from the renowned Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul. Noted for its bluish-green tint and designs painted in iron pigments, buncheong ware persisted until the 16th century, when a taste for white porcelain pushed the style out of favor (it has since been revived by contemporary Korean ceramic artists). The works here are all vintage.
