Rafael Ferrer, "Recent Work"

Fresh off of his major retrospective last summer at El Museo del Barrio, Ferrer—a Puerto Rican–born artist who at one point in the 1970s showed alongside the likes of Richard Serra and Robert Morris—returns with new paintings, drawings and installations created out of blackboards.
