Just in time for the tail end of Women's History Month, a new exhibit by Ashely Longshore takes over the fourth level of the Shops at Hudson Yards to celebrate 50 accomplished females from all sorts of backgrounds.
"Roar! A Collection of Mighty Women" occupies over 100 feet of space and will stay put through the end of the year.
The featured portraits span genres, highlighting women from all backgrounds, including pop icons the likes of Beyoncé, Cher, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga; political players like current Vice President Kamala Harris, former First Lady Michelle Obama and the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; and activists like Greta Thurnberg and Gloria Steinem.
