For his first solo outing at Team, the veteran photo artist is given the run of both gallery venues. On Wooster Street, "1973" presents two bodies of photos created that same year: One in which a sinister-looking rubber glove insinuates itself into otherwise ordinary situations; and another in which the artist pictures himself in the aftermath of suicides committed in unlikely settings (a sandbox) or by unlikely means (an arrow in the chest). "Library of Appearances," meanwhile, features new large-scale color C-prints of eyes and lips in close-up.
