Seher Shah, "Object Anxiety"

This Pakistani-born artist, who grew up in London and Brussels, is known for finely rendered meditations on architectural structures and spaces that manage to be both concrete and surreal. Something of a connoisseur of architectural styles, Shah here deconstructs midcentury Brutalism and its penchant for social engineering.
