Sharon Lockhart/Noa Eshkol

This show, titled as a collaborative effort, features a visual dialogue between Eshkol (1924–2007), a noted Israeli choreographer and textile designer, and Lockhart, a Los Angeles artist whose videos and photos bring a studied sense of equanimity to subjects ranging from girls basketball teams in Japan to blue-collar workers on their lunch break. Here, images of Eshkol's company are paired with some of her woven wall carpets.
