“Sunsets and Pussy” (slide show)

Sunsets. Pussy. They are two great things that go great together, judging from Marianne Boesky’s current exhibition, which, among things, deserves an award for best group show title of the summer. Betty Tompkins and Piotr Uklanksi provide the pussy; Lucien Smith lays on the sunsets. And Ed Ruscha offers hints of both. Together, they make up a tight line-up that’s well worth penetrating.
