"The Geometry of Kandinsky and Malevich"

Eight paintings each by these two iconic artists are on view as part of this focused exhibition. While their lives were roughly concurrent, chronologically speaking, these giants of painting explored abstraction in very different ways. Kandinsky's approach to geometry was driven by spiritual explorations; conversely, Malevich aimed to strip his forms of particularities in the hopes of discovering a universal visual language.
