"The Mexican Suitcase: Rediscovered Spanish Civil War Negatives by Capa, Chim, and Taro"

The foundations of war photography were reinvigorated a few years ago when three boxes filled with negatives by Robert Capa, David Seymour (Chim) and Gerda Taro arrived at the ICP. To provide context to a show of these seminal images, the Center has included copies of the magazines in which the images were originally published, as well as notebooks kept by the photographers.
