Artist Yuko Nii founded the nonprofit WAH Center in 1996 as a way to showcase the work of artists of varying disciplines and levels of recognition. Various music, dance and theatrical productions; poetry and stage readings; and lectures take place in its landmark Kings County Savings Bank building.
