Tommy Hartung, "Anna"

Hartung presents the eponymous video, which is based on Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, along with an installation made up of props and sets used in the filming, as well as other materials present in the studio at the time the artist was working on the project. The video itself riffs on Tolstoy's story, using stop-motion animation and snippets from a 1930 Soviet film.
