Time Out says

Dodge, a Denver native who lives and works in Los Angeles, limns chromatically vibrant abstractions that seem to circle back on themselves, much as the abstracts of Gerhard Richter do, giving viewers the sense that they're looking at a painting of a painting, as opposed to evidence of the act itself. This self-reflexive approach, usually manifested as broad linear strokes mechanically overlapped or arrayed in parallel over thinly applied fields of color, nonetheless packs a potent visual punch.
