Uwe Henneken, "Nihilbilly"

The spiritual meets the dystopian in these paintings by Berlin artist Henneken, whose previous canvases suggest a combination of George Condo and the Brothers Grimm. His latest works are part of his ongoing "Nihil" series, and include landscapes populated with derelict houses and other signs of abandonment.
