Valeska Soares, "Any Moment Now…"

Time is the essence of the artist’s show, which fills one of the gallery’s two locations with a vivid installation of book jackets referencing the subject. In the other is a kind of clock. The latter consists of a pocket watch suspended by a chain from a small circular track in the ceiling. In lieu of an hour hand, which has been removed for the occasion, the watch and chain move around the track every 60 minutes.
