21st Annual Central Harlem Tour of Historic Homes

With its tall, apartment-crammed buildings, New York City is a voyeur’s paradise. But while some are sated by staring into someone else's home with binoculars, we prefer a more legit approach. Today, take a self-guided spin through the brownstones and apartments of central Harlem, as well as galleries, parks and religious buildings. Or take a private tour with Harlem historian and preservationist Michael Henry Adams, the author of Harlem Lost and Found. Proceeds go to the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association.
