Older kids who dream of world travel can live vicariously through the large-scale reproduction photographs on view, taken by John Claude White. The British officer and civil engineer ventured through the mountains and rough terrain of the Himalayan lands in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of his images appeared in National Geographic alongside articles about the regions.
