Named in tribute to the gentleman who opened the Second Avenue Deli, this little green triangle next to St. Mark’s Church in-the-Bowery actually dates to 1799. In addition to reminding the neighborhood about the tragic shooting of Lebewohl in 1996 while he was at the bank, the minipark hosts a Greenmarket and a summer concert series. Lebewohl’s former Second Avenue Deli, ironically, is now a bank.
