"Artistic Voices of the Diaspora"

None other than the King of Calypso, Harry Belafonte, joins in a panel with artist Xenobia Bailey and filmmaker Zina Saro-Wiwa to discuss the influence of Africa on the contemporary arts. A screening of African Rhythmus, a 50-minute Soviet film documenting the 1966 precursor to the World Festival of Black Arts and Culture, will follow.
