The extensive Brooklyn public library system prides itself on its offerings for children, especially its youth programs and facilities—designated spaces where kids can read, study, and use computers for homework or game playing—which are found at each and every branch. Regular toddler storytimes and free cultural events are on tap throughout the borough as well.

PLEASE don't let this architectural gem close. It's in a great spot and the building is amazing inside and out. And it's part of the NYPL system, of course, so it's got EVERYTHING (though most things need to be ordered).
