Celebrate Messenger!

Today the space craft Messenger enters Mercury's orbit after setting out for the planet more than six years ago. The American Museum of Natural History streams a live video feed from NASA headquarters, as Messenger maneuvers into orbit. Museum staff will be on hand to explain the event for attendees lacking an astrophysics background.
