This serene garden is a quiet zone, so if you bring your kids, be sure they abstain from biking, running, playing sports and making noise. Visitors flock here in the spring to see gorgeous tulip displays, and in autum to see chrysanthemums.

This little section of the Central Park is a gem. It's a great place to come to feel like you've got away from the city, without having to leave. It's amazing in all seasons, but my favorite is when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the Spring. Bring a book and read in the shade, or stake out a spot for some people watching.

The Conservatory Garden is a beautiful little section of Central Park. I stumbled upon it one time randomly and am so glad I did. The flowers are beautiful and the serenity of the garden takes you away from the chaos of NYC.

I recommend guided tour through Conservatory Garden, which was done by Peter Pen Tours of Central Park. He was extremely knowledgeable. What the garden looks like today is a testament of the hard work the conservancy does.
