Cosmorama Opening Night Party

Coney Island commemorates the centennial of the fire that destroyed its Dreamland amusement park with, appropriately, a reenactment. Check out the 360-degree "cosmorama," which uses sound and lighting effects to illustrate the disaster. To celebrate the opening, Coney Island will also stage burlesque and sideshow performances, offer giveaways and display the old Dreamland Bell that fell into the ocean during the 1911 fire.
