Dancing in the Dark

Morris Dickstein's book Dancing in the Dark examines the popular culture of the Great Depression era and its focus on the everyman (and here you are, thinking it was about Springsteen). Dickstein will be joined by journalist and historian Robert W. Snyder in a discussion of the era and its connection to "Denys Wortman Rediscovered," the museum's new exhibit, which collects the cartoonist's work for World-Telegram and Sun.
