The Embee Sunshade Co., which provides umbrellas for many of the city’s hot-dog stands and other kiosks, is one of the last functioning survivors of Williamsburg’s industrial past. This exhibit celebrates the business’s 79-year history with promotional materials, photographs by Brooklynite Theo Coulombe and a chance to test out the wares in the museum’s backyard.
