Firefighter Appreciation Weekend

The FDNY takes over the Intrepid aircraft carrier for a weekend full of rescue demos, vehicle displays and a blessing to honor the entire department's fleet (we hope any emergencies will wait until Monday). Highlights include a Battle of the Boroughs cook-off on Sat 16 (11:30am–3:30pm) and Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano naming a new firehouse pup.
