Food: The Conference

The CUNY Graduate Center sates the craving for food scholarship with a daylong conference. Discussions range from the aesthetics of modern cuisine to vampire appetites, with at least three investigations into Leopold Bloom's consumption in the novel Ulysses. NYU professor Amy Bentley will give the keynote address: “The Poetics and Pragmatics of Deliciousness.”
