Lower East Side walking tour

This early-morning walk through the neighborhood, led by historian Marty Shore, will visit some of the area’s most historic sites; plus, attendees will get a peek at the Henry Street Settlement’s in-progress transition from an old tenement to an energy-efficient community center. (The 181-year-old building was the recipient of a MAS grant to upgrade its space.)
