Almost 70 years before Sofia Coppola envisioned Marie Antoinette as a clotheshorse rocking out to an ’80s soundtrack, Thin Man director W.S. Van Dyke made a biopic about this self-absorbed monarch. The French expat Francine du Plessix Gray will introduce the earlier film as part of the Rubin Museum's Cabaret Cinema series.
