This newly renovated chlorinated mecca sits at the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, making it a beacon for North Brooklyn dwellers. With a 37,571-square-foot swim area, in addition to plenty of poolside space for beach-chair and towel lounging, you’ll be able to scope out hundreds of stylish hipsters, neighborhood families and curious tourists looking to stay cool. Just be prepared for a wait: The pool’s been drawing major crowds—as well as some scuffles—since its late-June 2012 debut.

Ignore the bad reviews this pool is a gem. It's massive, clean and well kept. And it's totally 100% free. I have been swimming in August. Yes sunny days are busy but on cloudy days you might just get it to yourself. Grateful for such a super facility.
It was a historic moment, when the park reopened a few weeks ago. Marred by violence, the park needs more police. Having said that, this IS a PUBLIC city park. Things like this will always happen. It's not Westchester or LI. I Hope people around the city can enjoy this park in the near future, with worrying about safety.
people that come from other neighborhoods are nasty ,loud they even did beat up a lifeguard in the first few days of opening like animals PLACE IS NICE BUT A LOT OF ANIMALS COME
