I'm not a big baseball person at all, yet I always jump at an opportunity to see the Cyclones play. Amateur baseball is just so much more fun than professional baseball. Not to mention, MCU Park as a venue is perfect.
The setup enables you to have an unobstructed view from just about anywhere, and the open space makes for a fantastic sunset. The venue itself is relatively easy to get to, and their food/drink prices are fairly affordable.
There's also a back "VIP" garden section where you can chill and drop off your kids. In addition to Cyclones games, MCU Park also hosts a variety of other things 0 the other notable event being Mad Decent Block Party.
