"Mother India: The Goddess in Indian Painting"

This exhibit pays tribute to Devi, or the Goddess, who shares first rank with Shiva and Vishnu in Hindu, Buddhist and Jain religions. Highlights include a molded relief sculpture of the goddess Durga from the 1st century B.C. and a 12th-century bronze statue of Yashoda nursing the infant Krishna.
