New Amsterdam Plein and Pavilion

Nearly two years after the Netherlands gifted New York this windmill-shaped structure, the New Amsterdam Plein and Pavilion will finally open. The pavilion houses an information kiosk and the Merchants Market, a food hub focusing on locally sourced ingredients. It will be surrounded by the plein, a wide-open plaza with tables and chairs, where visitors can congregate.
