“Printing for Kingdom, Empire, & Republic: Treasures from the Archives of the Imprimerie Nationale”

This exhibit looks at the significant impact that the Imprimerie Nationale, the French national press, has had on publishing and typography since its creation in 1538. The items on display, which number several hundred, include typefaces from the 16th century, engraved plates for illustrations and original manuscripts.
